Topic: Effects, spread and importance of light.

Objective: to know what are the effects, spread and importance of light.

Heat is the transfer of thermal energy between objects that have different temperatures.

Thermal eenergy travels from the hottest object to the coldest. The energy from the burner flows into the pot and from there to the water, causing it to heat up. The energy does not travel from the water, which is at a high temperature. This particular energy is 

recognized as calorirific energy.

Heat changes the physical state of the bodies; for example, the material with which candles are made is called paraffin and is in a solid state, but with the heat of the flame when they are lit it melts making liquids.

Heat exhaustion is a relatively common reaction to severe heat and can include symptoms such as dizziness, headache and fainting. ... But when sustained heat waves hit a region, the other health ramifications can be serious, including sunstroke and even major organ damage due to heat.

ACTIVITY: Read the text about the topic and draw 2 examples of how the heat is changing  and explain.
