Topic: Urban and rural population clasification.
Objective: To know how was the urban and rural clasification population.
Urban population is the one that lives in the cities and towns, rural that lives in the field. out of every twenty nicaraguans, eleven live in urban areas and nine in rural areas.
Currently 55% of the population is concentrated in the urban area and 44.1% is in the rural area.
The population is classified, according to sex, in men and women and by age in young and adult.
The amount of population by sex is almost the same, since as many males as females are born. but with the passage of time, there is predominance of women over men, that is, women survive more than men.
In the countryside, males predominate more than females, although the relationship has decresed due to migrations from the countryside to the city.
Nicaragua is a country made up mainly of children and young people, since half of its populaton has not yet reached the age of 18, there are fewer adults and elderly people. Due to thi situation, the demand for health services, sources of employment, eeducation and housing among others increases.
