Topic: Vulnerability,alert and security zone.
Objective: To know the meaning of vulnerability, alert and security zone.
Vulnerability: is the condition, by which a population or social, economic or infraestructure, structure is exposed to the danger of being affectd by a phenomenon of human or natural origin, called threat.
It presents a weak condition that makes it difficult to resist the occurrence of a particular phenomenon.
Risk: it is the probability that a disaster will occur and generate losses of all kinds in a vulnerability place to a threat.
Alert: is a warning signal, provided prior to the occurrence of a declared disaster, in order to take specific precautions, to avoid the existence of possile personal misfortunes.
Security zones: are stablished according to the type of threat that exists in the community, for example, threats can be earthquakes, floods, fires, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions.
These safety zones are stablished on a community participates in determining them.

Activity: read the text and answer the following question.
1- Is vulnerability asn risk the same?
2- investigate what are the most vulnerales places or communities in Nicaragua, and explain how that affect to the people.
